When did your RES get excited about eating time?

Just curious. I know there are tons of "My turtle won't eat." threads. That's not my issue. I just want Crotch (my RES/YB hybrid) to get excited about feeding time.

My turtle has always been a pig. A very excited pig.

Haha. Mine isn't. He will just let it float around and then eat it whenever he feels like it. He never sees me before I feed him and gets excited or even attack the food as it hits the water. Granted, I've only had him for two weeks. Maybe he'll get more excited soon.

One of my turtles used to be shy, but the other one taught it all her begging tactics, and now when they notice the computer being turned off... they know what that means, feeding time! They are so excited that they often will fail to see the food and splash around madly until I point it out to them.
Your turtle will soon learn when the food comes and who it comes from, I think it's just a matter of getting used to her new home.
