My turtle's shell is bulging on the side. It seems to be more prominent as the days goes by. His diet consist of iceberg lettuce, dark leaf lettuce, and some baby turtle pellets. I've stop giving him pellets after i realizing his bloated looking appearance. I'm not sure how long ago I've cut back, but i was wondering if anyone know what this is? I think he just might be chubby, but there are not bulging skin. The shell seems slightly higher than what i've seen in other turtle shells, but not 100% sure. Also, does it make a difference giving a 3inch turtle baby pellets instead of the other formula?

Can you post a picture of it? You can still give him baby pellets.

Also iceberg lettuce is useless. Dark leafy greens are better.
