ok i have a question on a food that i havent seen in the do/don't feed part of the site. i have collie greens in my fridge and was wondering if i can feed it to my turts. for those of you who dont know what collie greens is its very similar to mustard leaves or escarole. i found this on a website...Collard greens (Brassica oleracae var acephala), called Colliard, coleworts and collie greens contains calcium, potassium, vitamin A and C. Collard greens originated in the Mediterranean basin and were a favorite food of the ancient Greeks and Romans.

Collard greens are OK to give as part of a balanced diet. I give them to my turts occasionally. They eat them, although maybe not as enthusiastically as more tender greens.
