Hi All,
Ok have read through all the pages in this area, and could not find a definte answer to this question..... When ones turt eats a fish....should you still feed them their pellets and if he is eating one fish a day should pellets be withheld? Tortuga got a guppy yesterday, and got a rosie red today... there are still 8 fishes in tank with him, he is almost 2" so still a baby. I fed him 2 pellets this am... but then he ate a rosie red later, so have not given him his 2 pellets this evening.... should I wait on pellets for a couple days or more or still keep him on the 4 pellets a day (2 in the am and 2 in pm). He has the lettus and carrots always in the tank which he devours also. (romain lettus whole leaf minus middle part, one to two baby organic carrots sliced thinly which will last him a couple of days)
any guidence on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance :)
Peace love & light
Carey

You want to vary the diet---pellets one day, perhaps fish another, then pellets, then maybe crickets, for example (this is for a hatchling that's being fed daily). But you can offer some plant matter daily, even on days when you're feeding the pellets.
