Hello everyone. I'm pretty new here but I must tell you that the information has been extremely useful to me and Robinson (my RES) . My question is as the subject suggests, are green peas ok ? I'm sure they aren't bad, however, I'm starting to wonder if they might be like a treat of some sort. I ask this because when I give one to Robinson, he really, really seems to like them. I just don't want to feed him something that may be the junk food of veggies.

I do feed him other things as well. Crickets, panfish worms, wax worms, turtle stick food etc. He's only 2.5 inches long, so I think he is more carnivorous at this point but he does get a decent variety of food. As a newbie to turtles, I'm trying to do my best to ensure he gets what he needs.

Thanks in advance for any knowledge you can lend.

I just read that peas should be fed once a month max. I apologize for starting a new thread.
