Feeding and Nutrition :: I think I over fed my turtle!

Ok so at first my baby turt was scared of and wanted nothing to do with the fish. But now he cant get enough! My starving turt has become obese in 2 days! He has bulges around his legs and although im not sure what it is but i think he may be pyramiding. Im worried he may have eaten too much. There were 11 fish yesturday and now there are only two!! Please help!!!!

Well, I do not think a turtle in 2 days can either:
-become obese
-develop shell pyramiding

Well his shell looked abit high when i got him. And his extremeties aare a bit larger than before i put the minnows in. Not longer but pudgy. Il see if i can post som pics tomorrow.

Yeah it takes more then 2 days for a turtle to become obese and much more for his shell to start pyramiding. He should only get a couple of fish a month since they are high in protein.

Thanks ranger.But he does look abit pudgy. U sure 3-4 fish a day wouldnt make him this way?

I wouldn't think so, Just feed him less and he will be fine.
