I went and bought some plants today at the fish shop. I bought 2 anacharis' and a hornwort. I made a mistake by buying the hornwort, it got leaves EVERYWHERE. It kind of made me mad because I just cleaned Philberts tank this morning. So unless you like a leaf filled tank don't buy the hornwort.

The tank looks a lot better now that I put the plants in though. I'll get some pictures around night time (too much glare). I think I'll buy some water lettuce next time instead of the hornwort lol.

Hornwort is a strange plant---one of my painteds has had pieces of the same plant for 3 years now. I have, however, found that if I sometimes put it in water that's been changed, it will lose all its leaves and make a real mess.

Yeah my RES would eat then entire 5 bunches I bought a month ago if I had them all in his tank. I have to put them in a bucket so they can grow but they are starting to turn gray on the leaves for some reason.
