Is it possible that turtles can just get tired of eating pellets and not want to eat them sometimes
Niko will eat his pellets one day, then the next he will refuse to eat for me at all! I don't know why.
He seems absolutely terrified of me too which makes me even more frustrated.
Is my turtle unhappy

My male RES would sometimes refuse his veggies, but would start up after a few days. It's never happened with pellets, what kind are you using?

http://www.houstonherp.com/ReptoMin.htmNormal reptomin. there is feeder fish, but won't eat them. Won't eat his veggies. He ate blueberries a few times. I just want my little guy to be able to not be scared around me and to eat. I'm just so scared that I'm not treating him right or that he isn't happy.

Pellets every other day when he wants to, that's it. I've had him for two months. Could he not be comfortable with me yet? He just refuses to eat sometimes.

It's just a bit odd, is there anything he won't refuse?

I think they can get tired of the same food every day, which is one reason why a varied diet is better for them.

I am having the same problem with one of my turtles! I have tried everything. If i find a solution I will let you know! by the way are you feeding him in the tank or in a separate container?

Hm.. My RES has never gotten tired of the pellets I've fed him. But he also hates vegetables like your turtle. I haven't tried to give him any vegetables in a while cause I felt like I was just wasting when he wouldn't eat any of it and I had to throw it away. But Im going to try again when I go to the store today.

You can also try different pellets, a little variety doesn't hurt
