Feeding and Nutrition :: what types of worms should I feed my res?

I know my turtles can eat earthworms but, mealworms??superworms???PLEASE DONT EXIT OUT OF THIS FORUM NOW, ALL ANSWERS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.thanks guys

Mealworms and super worms have very little nutritional value but can be fed occasionally as a treat. I also feed silk worms, butterworms and horn worms. That's about all that's readily available in my area.

You can feed almost any protein sources coming from pet stores, but they are high in protein and should be given in moderation. If you are wanting to "find" bugs from outdoors, you must make sure that they haven't been exposed to pesticides ever. So unless you live out in the middle of farmlands (which I doubt occur in Brooklyn), you'll want to stick with pet store worms/proteins.
