Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Are they healthy for my turtles to eat? I got some plecos for my tank and they completely eliminated the algae from my tank so now I have to give them algae waffers but my turtles go and eat them first. Are they poisonous for my turtles or anything? The bag says that it's for herbivorous fishes but made mainly for plecos.

I heard they weren't bad for turtles, but I don't know much about them. I could be wrong...

Alright, any second opinions? I thinking that turtles have wider diets then fishes and they can handle fish foods as well as their own.

As part of the diet, they're OK. I've occasionally broken up and few and given them to my RES.
