ok so i have 2 baby res and have 2 full grown guppies and a big gold fish in the tank and even though the guppies are like 3 times the size of the turtles head i saw 1 catch a guppy and eat it and ive seen them both gang up on the big goldfish and almost kill it im wondering if i should take him out along with the other guppy since they might be a big meal for the turtles or is it ok for them to have something big like that

Its okay because they will rip him apart with there claws. if they eat the big goldfish tho you mite just not want to feed them for a good day or two after. I usually let 35 Goldfish go in my tank and just let the turtles pick them off one by one, I still have a good 20 gold fish in the tank, they havnt been eating them really as much as they used too, there getting too fast for the turtles lol. What I would do is just leave them in there if you dont care about the fish being killed. I also like to throw in a lil bit of veggies like some collard greens.

vic021: I would take out the goldfish. If they are already eating guppies than a turtle will be WAY too much. Goldfish are very fatty and should not really be fed to your turtles - it's bad for them. Do your turtles a favor and take out the goldfish :)
