Feeding and Nutrition :: Reptoguard water conditioners...

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

tonight I bought one of those Reptoguard dissolving water conditioners that are in the shape of a turtle, I read the directions and everything but it said nothing about if its ingested by turtles. My turtle keeps picking it up with its mouth and carrying it with it, could this turn out to be bad for its health? Should I not have used it in the first place? Or does it just not matter?

It would help me out a lot for advice, thanks

no it wont hurt them, my turtles usually eat all the heads and legs off those and are fine, my cichlids pick them until there gone anyways.

Those type of blocks are usually not beneficial and can be harmful down the road (possible resistance to sulpha medication).
