Alright, I have my map turtles in the tank with my RES. I offer my RES red lettuce everyday but he doesn't eat them but my map eats them along with their daily serving of pellets. Is it possible to overfeed them veggies?

If they eat too many veggies, they can get loose poop. Also, if they eat too much in general, they can throw up. I've found that my big female Frankie throws up if she eats too much lettuce, so I pay closer attention to how much I'm feeding her.

I'm sure the lettuce is good for the maps too. Just put in shell-sized chunks, so you can make sure no one is eating too much.

Yeah I put in about 2 shell sized chunks for 4 turtles and two of them just love ripping it up and one gathers the large scraps that fall off then they just look around for some more while my RES is begging me for food.
