Turtle not eating

I am new to the turtle world. My slider won't eat no matter what i give him or her i'm not sure. I bought it from a vendor in the city. It is realitivly small, and won't eat. What should i do

What are you feeding it? Lettuce. Because small RES just refuse to eat any veggies for some reason. You're better off going to the store and buying some ReptoMin reptile sticks. My little RES took a nibble out of some red leaf lettuce and spit it out and never touch it again. It tries to avoid it as much as possible. Oh yeah make sure you got the right conditions for it to eat. Cold water will make it refuse to eat.

I do have the sticks and i place him in luke warm water cause he does not like the cold. I haven't tried the veggies cause i figured he ws to small. I don't know what else to do. Plus i think he's in hibernation. Cause he's been sleep for like two days now.

What's your setup like? What's the water temp?

He could be infected with RI. Do you have a heater for your water? Does he have enough space to swim? Is the water clean?
