Feeding and Nutrition :: curious and a question

so ive looked at my LPS and they dont carry minnows or rosy reds. idk where i can get any. i live in Lancaster PA if that helps anyone. where do u get urs?

and i know all fish put in with a turtle run the risk of becoming turtle food but i was wondering if there are any other cheap fish that look good in the tank. u know, add some colour and what not. and i have some feeder guppies in the tank now, i think 6 or 7 but they r small and dont look that great so they r kinda boring. suggestions? ideas? help?

Once you get away from feeders fish prices jump alot. Nothing really cheap besides the feeders.

You dont have a petco or petsmart, other big named petstores? They should all carry feeder fish. Im really surprised your LPS doesnt have any. Never have I seen any petstore without some O.o

around me there is petsmart and that ifhs place that pet place. they have feeders but the only thing ive seen between the 2 is that petsmart has some species of rosy reds but they r either 1.99 or 2.99 a piece. which i dont htink is right

so i went to petsmart today and talked to the ppl, they only carry them sometimes not all year. and sure enough they had 10 left so i got the whole lot
