Feeding and Nutrition :: i dont know what to feed my turtle

i have a 2 inch long red eared slider and i want to give him something different to eat does any one have any ideas?

Different from what? What have you been feeding him/her?

just turtle food and sometimes rosy reds

I give mine carrots (he loooves carrots!), strawberries (he loooves strawberries too! haha), bananas (keep in mind this is only occasionally, not on a regular basis). He also loves live worms. He eats them up like spaghetti. lol. You can also try feeders such as guppies, or minnows (minnows are really cheap!). It's fun watching them dash after the fish. Also you should try different veggies, although it's hard to get them to eat their greens sometimes.

ok thanks i think i should change up his tank a little it has been the same for a looooong time lol.
