Posted: Wed Jan 06, 2010 5:52 pmno, do not feed them iceberg lettuce. Dandelion leaves, Green Leaf lettuce, Red Leaf lettuce, Turnip greens (leaves only) are best.

Posted: Wed Jan 06, 2010 9:05 pmIt won't cause any harm if you feed a bit, but it really has no nutritional value. It's like feeding them ice. For regular feedings, stick with the nice green veggies like Brad mentioned.
Posted: Wed Jan 06, 2010 9:06 pmI agree with bradmeisel. I read NEVER to feed iceberg lettuce. I just stick to the green leaf lettuce - it's also cheaper 
Posted: Wed Jan 06, 2010 11:43 pmI don't feed iceburg to my turtles and I rarely eat it myself because it's really made up of mostly water. Not much nutritiion in it at all.
