Can I feed my turtle Iceberg lettuce?

yes, i'm pretty sure you can feed them any kind of lettuce you find at the grocery store.

no, do not feed them iceberg lettuce. Dandelion leaves, Green Leaf lettuce, Red Leaf lettuce, Turnip greens (leaves only) are best.

It won't cause any harm if you feed a bit, but it really has no nutritional value. It's like feeding them ice. For regular feedings, stick with the nice green veggies like Brad mentioned.

I agree with bradmeisel. I read NEVER to feed iceberg lettuce. I just stick to the green leaf lettuce - it's also cheaper

I don't feed iceburg to my turtles and I rarely eat it myself because it's really made up of mostly water. Not much nutritiion in it at all.
