two turtles in cohabitation
Posted: Tue Oct 06, 2009 3:04 pmhey, i recently got two turtles (august 29). they live together in a tank, and when i got them they were both about 1" - 1 1/4" (guessing). when i measured them last monday, sam was 1 3/4" and ella was 1 1/4". today, sam is 2". im going to make the assumption that this is a pretty speedy growth rate (1/4" in a week).
i think that what is happening is that sam is eating all the food and ella isnt really getting much. are there any ways i can encourage sam to eat less and ella to eat more without feeding them seperately?
