Feeding

My res is almost 7 years old and getting pretty big. She always seems to be hungry ( at least begging ). I feed her frozen veggie blocks and pellets. Once in a blue moon I will give her boiled chicken. I've tried all lettuces and she won't touch them. I've tried watermelon, she won't eat that.
What is she missing that I'm not giving her?
Thanks,
Elaine

Lower the amount of protein (pellets), and cut the chicken out. Keep those very low for about a week. Make sure your turtle is hungry, not just begging because she recognizes you as a source of food. When you know she's actually hungry, offer a few types of quality salad veggies to try and entice her to eat. The fact that she's actually hungry at that point may be reason enough to eat the veggies, and eventually get used to it.

I have anacharis growing all in my pond, I gave her a strip of that and she ate it all. How often can that be fed to her?
