Rosy Minnows are good and some people also feed guppies. You should stay away from goldfish because they contain mostly fat and aren't good for turtles.

All fish contain parasites, if you are worried then don't feed them any although they are a great deal of fun for turtles. Chasing the pray also wakes up their instinct of a wild turtle to catch their food not just wait for humans to throw in some pellets.

As long as you just offer fish as treats, once a week or so, you should be fine.

I'm always really picky about where I buy my feeder fish from. Frankly, I haven't found a good spot in NYC so I just stopped buying them. Fish are nice snacks, but parasites are such a pain to get rid of I tend to err on the side of caution.

i would play it safe and feed it less amounts. i feed my turtles some canned tuna. they love it but i dont over do it. i remember on the first day they got fattened up. but i kinda think once a month is too much. once every 2 months seems better to me. just to be safe
