Has any of you used a juicer on the sweet potatoes and carrots to go in the jello?
I just made up a bunch and put the sweet potatoe thru the juicer and just used the pulp
It turned out great. The pulp was light and fluffy. Then I used the juice to help moisten
The mixture to puree it. That way no cooking necessary.

Interesting! So you used raw sweet potato and carrots? Very cool idea.
I usually use the hand blender to mix mine all up.

Yep raw on both. Used the juicer then put the pulp in with the choped up Kale, apple peel and blue berries
Into the blender on puree. Added a little tuna juice and juice from the sweet potatoe carrot mix
After mixing added calcium supplement. And followed the rest of the recipe. And seems to have worked
Very well.

Very nice!

I love that idea. My food processor chunked up the food pretty badly. It wasnt very smooth....And never got eaten. :(

Ill have to try another batch sometime.

I think the trick is to make it good and stinky. I put one spoonful of tuna in mine, then sniffed it. It smelled too much like veggies still, so I added another spoonful. Then when I sniffed it, it was like, "Woah! :S"
