Feeding and Nutrition :: Tuna in water

is tuna a good thing to feed my turtles i saw they ate it right up and seemed to enjoy it they are not eating the turtle food again

Any turtle will prefer tuna to pellets . Tuna is high in protein and isn't a balanced diet so it should only be a rare treat.

From now on only offer veggies and pellets. Eventually the turtles will get hungry enough to eat this "less desirable" food again.
