Since Crush is going to run out of food soon, I recently decided on doing some more research & looking on what foods to buy for her soon. i saw a few of these in the petsmart/petco & was wondering if they are any good.

i 1st saw this at petsmart & wasn't sure what to think of it:

http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.j ... Id=3430285

another type:

http://www.petco.com/product/9187/Zilla ... -Food.aspx

And the last one i saw:

http://www.petco.com/product/5060/Wardl ... ticks.aspx

may i please have your opinions & suggestions on these foods? thank you :D

They're actually all not that good. Wardley's is down there in the recommendations and the others are relatively new so not much is out on them. I wouldn't use them.

Why not just buy Reptomin? Or buy Mazuri online if you have time. I firmly think mazuri is the best food out there.

oh i see, thank you for the feedback. I put up a post before on why I stopped using Reptomin. For some reason it seemed that Reptomin was making my water turn green quicker than normal. I believed that it was the food because when i switched to another brand, the water didn't turn green as fast. So i stopped using it. although Reptomin is highly recommended, Crush is doing well with the other turtle brand foods.

Crush has so far tried:

Reptomin
ZooMed Aquatic Turtle Food
HBH Turtle Bites
Exo Terra Aquatic Turtle

I saw the Hikari turtle sticks at petsmart  & was very tempted to buy it. But I chose to not buy it & wait 'til I am almost finished with the food I have now. I have never tried Mazuri yet, I plan on trying it eventually, but it seems like they aren't sold at pet stores yet & I'd have to buy it online.

Yeah you'd have to buy online for mazuri.

I'd go for the Hikari. My turtle loves it.

Are you looking for just regular pellets? I sometimes give mine HBH Turtle treats for a snack or ZooMed Turtle treat- the baby shrimp.

no not really. I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried feeding the foods I listed in the links. I don't give Crush any treats, she gets a few rosies once in a while. I prefer just feeding her a healthy diet :). thank you for your input
