My largest female (i think female) RES threw up her food once but she ate it all back up.
my two guesses are:
1) she ate this antimicrobal stone that does not break down easily (Stays solid) and never threw it up.
2) or she just ate way too much.
i could not avoid the antimicrobal stone, i bought it at pet shop in japan and i put it in the water and RES just ate it up...... i just read the directions...
