Wow! That's pretty fancy! I just give Reptomin. The only other widely available food here is Wardley, which I hear isn't great (although Ralph was raised on the stuff). Plus, it's really hard to get big containers of food (I've been ordering online). My two went through a 2.5lb box of reptomin in about 6 months! If I were to buy the little bottles of wardley here, I'd be going out every second week!

I do Reptomin and Turtle Bites. I'd like to add Mazuri to the mix but can't find any stores around here that sell it. If I could find a good deal online where shipping wasn't too expensive, I might get some.

that's where I got my mazuri. Took a few weeks to get it as they were having some kind of issues but it was cheap.

Also you can get it for a few bucks more directly from mazuri.

Chris, didn't you have a topic about keeping pellets in air tight containers before?

Thanks for the info Chris! Now I remember your whole ordeal with ordering the Mazuri pellets... I think I may give it a shot, despite you having to wait a few weeks.

Yes I did and still keep all my surplus pellets in Snapware containers. However this is just a little altoids tin that I mix pellets in and keep on the shelf because they get used quickly and it's more convenient.

No problem. Let me know how it works out. I guess at the time of my order they were having some issues with distributors. So hopefully it will be faster for you.

did you guys ever have a problem with feeding Reptomin & it slowly turning the water to green? i used to feed my RES Reptomin, but i noticed that the water color would change to green faster than using another food brand. so i've been avoiding Reptomin ever since.

Spot gets half Reptomin and half Mazuri.

francinemarie, were uneaten Reptomin pellets staying in the tank? If so and the water was turning green, you might just fish out any uneaten pellets after 5 or 10 minutes.

Reptomin (Sun- Fri), Nutrafin (Sat) but I might buy some Hikari soon. Mazuri will be in the mix as soon as we can find a place that has it.
