Mainly pellets, and krill and shrimp. They don't much care for veggies. I got them to eat spinach, but that is on the do not feed list. They ate some collared greens after I soaked the leaves in tuna water.

For me, the jello shots work with respect to the turtles consuming more veggies but it seems to me as though they don't digest the veggies. When I feed the turtles pellets, their poop looks like a healthy and formed brown log. When I feed them jello shots I find bits of shredded veggies. I am starting to think that the gelatin interferes with nutritional absorption.

Bits of shredded veggies is normal with a vegetable diet - at least with my RES.

Quick Question: How do you guys puree the sweet potato without baking it first? Or do you baked it?.. I just figure that cooking it prior to making the shots would deplete the vitamins...

Can't wait to make these for my little monster :)

Poke holes in it, wrap it in plastic wrap. Microwave. Same way you make baby food.

I was just watching Dirty Job's and they made meat jello shots to feed sharks in a tank. Just thought I would share that.
