i walked in to turn my turtles light off and i caught him eating his poo

thats the first time i have seen him do that and he was feed today, is that normal??

You'll hardly ever find poo, which is really bad if you ever need it for the vet ... Don't worry, your turtle probably isn't eating *all* of it, much of it disintegrates into the water, hence why we don't give our turtles kisses!

Totally normal. Just very gross for us to watch, LOL!!!!!

When a turtle eats a fish, he's also eating their poo.

I've never seen my hatchling poo but I've seen his droppings and they are the size of a grain of uncooked rice.
