So I convince my mom to get some boston lettuce since it was like $1.29..this stuff is good for them right? Later on I come home to discover that my brother dropped off some tadpoles he got from a guy from work. I don't think they're wild but I'm not sure. Are these OK to feed? Should I wait for them to turn into frogs (either in the small container they are in or in my brothers fish tank) if at all possible? Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't wait until they turn into frogs, the turtle may not eat them at that stage. But as long as the tadpoles came from a safe source (pet store or local pond, but not the local landfill or something), and you don't give the turtle like 50 at once, they should just be like feeder fish.

About the lettuce, I believe Boston lettuce is like Bibb lettuce. Here's a topic:

Thanks..actually I think they came from someone's pool cover-I don't know if you would call that safe or not.

Well, it was probably rain water and not chlorinated water, but just in case, I'd probably leave them in a bowl for a day or three to get any nasties soaked out of them and get some good water in them. But I'd eventually feed them to my turtle!

There was a mosquito in the closed container with only two small holes). I do not know how-I put them on patio and asked someone to dispose somehow-I don't want to feed them to my turtle now. However, the mosquito flew away in my room..now this really sucks.
