Posted: Sun Apr 20, 2008 1:45 pmGoing by the scientific name you gave, I found that it is very VERY high in oxalic acid. Oxalic acid inhibits calcium absorption.
It is also high in phosphorous, which given in excess can cause Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD).
I also found that overdoses of Rumex Crispus have caused death in humans!
So to answer your question, no, dock is not good for turtles.

Posted: Sun Apr 20, 2008 2:53 pmi seen those before but i dont know the name of it. even thoguh it hink you shouldnt feed them to your turtles. "their your kids. treat them like your real kids someday" think about that quote and ask yourself would i feed somthing hazardous to my kids because i wouldnt. you think about that
