That's cause for celebration! 6 months is pretty early but not unheard of.

Blueberries - yes, good. Steamed sweet potato also very good. Carrot peel, bell pepper, tomato, apple peel, dandilion leaves, fresh basil, turnip greens - all very good.

Im guessing there six months. When I got them 4 months ago they were quarter size. They seem like hatchlings. My other one only picks at live prey and pellets though.

Hooray for veggies! I've never had a problem getting my turtle to eat lettuce. She's been eating it since she was a little 1.5" baby.

My turtle (I got him 6 months ago, he was probably 1-1.5") started eating lettuce after three months. Loves the stuff. I don't know what his age was when I got him, I assume a little older than a true hatchling. I've talked a lot to my husband about how people have problems getting their turtles to eat when our turtle will eat anything. I busted him the other day gnawing on the only ornament in his tank (it's a cute little gremlin, he had the ear in his mouth!). So, I took that away from him. He's a rabid little bugger! Hasn't gone for my finger yet ...
