Barley?
Posted: Sat Feb 02, 2008 7:46 pmI have some barley straw that I put in the pond now & then (organic way to help with clarity, alge control, odor & filtering) I put a new one in this AM & noticed the DBT Lucy tasting it. I tossed in some pellets & she ate them & left the barley alone...for now.
The package says it's safe for ALL animals, but I was wondering if anyone on here has any more specific info than that? Can it harm them if eaten? Could it possibly be beneficial?
