Hi guys I was just wondering if it is safe to put pothos plant in the water with my RED?

I don't think so, i know pothos is poisonous to dogs and cats at least.

No. They are poison for turtles (at least to boxies, which all the info I could find when researching plants for the pond area)

I think pothos are poisonous for just about anything...

i m reading conflcting stuff on this. I had pothos in and out of my tank for a bit (they ate all the roots pretty quickly). I am wondering if i should add it into my new tank. Any new insight since 2008?
