Feeding and Nutrition :: Have you used this brand of pellet before?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Normaly I get the Wardley Reptile Premium Sticks, but today I picked up a container of the Nutrafin Max Turtle Gammarus Pellets.

The diffrence I see between it an the brand I normaly Buy is that the Nutrafin is the color, even reading the back an comparing both containers they seem almost the same. they also smell alot diffrent. The Wardleys has this strong almost fishy like smell to it, an the nutrafin smells more like goldfish flakes.
The Nutrafin Max also seems to have some diffrent ingredients - suchs as Fish Liver meal, Soy Flour, Kelp, D-pantothenic acid, Citric Acid, Calcium phosphate, Shrimp meal, oat meal, l-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate( for vitimin c),calcium lactate, wheat flour, Gammarus

Theres probly a few more in the Nutrafin Max that isn't in the other but the labels print is messin with my eyes- _-

Has anyone tried the Nutrafin Max? Any +'s or Complaints about it?

I've tried them. My two girls are sort of ho-hum over them and the Wardleys. I also noticed some of the Wardleys Premium Pellets sink to the bottom and get stuck in the intakes.
My kids always liked the Reptomin and the Zoo-Med Aquatic Turtle Food, I try to switch them around at each feeding......

Ralph was on the Nutrafin Max for a while. It`s not bad, but I found too much of it and it turned his poop orange...

I never tried the Wardley's or Nuitrifin but I did try a couple of other brands. All Spot would eat is Reptomin and Mazuri. That was a couple of years ago though. These days he's eating everything in sight and I bet he wolf down any brand of pellet he could get.

Mine will pick out the Reptomin and Mazuri pellets out of the mix first. They will eat the Zoo Med and Hikari pellets, but as a last resort.
