Has anyone heard of feeding turtles koi pellets? Two local pet stores actually recommended them to me today. Are they nutritionally equal to sticks like Reptomin? They told me that the small round shape is easy for the turtle to eat & it stays afloat longer. Opinions?

No, you should feed turtle pellets to turtles and koi pellets to koi. Koi pellets generally don't have added calcium and other vitamins that turtles need and koi don't need.
It's ok if you feed koi pellets to them from time to time as a variety, though! ;D

I personally like Hikari turtle food the best, reptomin has more protein and oil content than Hikari, feeding it too much might cause the turtle to grow too fast, but after I switch to Hikari, my turtle is doing much better.
I'm not sure about the Koi food, I'll have to check the ingredient next time when I go to the store...
