Turtle Size (SCL) 2.5 inches
Turtle habitat (indoor/outdoor) indoor 55 gal

cuddle bone is always there for here to chomp on. I've replace it once since I got her, is this good or bad?

I would add a bit more variety with the kale. Treats are usually once a week or longer but consider the quantity first.

what other leafy veggies would be best? she really seems to enjoy the purple stuff which is why I tend to keep giving it to her.
I shall slow down on the shrimp to but once a week!
Do they eat apple slices? she will eat strawberry/mango slices but doesn't seem to care for it the sweet stuff.
I gave her a meal worm the other day she really seemed to enjoy it but I won't do that again for a while, I fear it will be too much for her to process.

What are the best ways to make those turtle jello shots? do you happen to have a recipe? :) I would like to try and make something like that if she will eat em.

There is a jello sticky with various recipes. Try some red leaf lettuce instead of kale. How big are those large pellets?

I'll try the red leaf lettuce. smaller than her head but they are soaked so they are soft. 5/16 size it says. they aren't the growth ones, its a maintenance formula.

I'd try a different brand... Omega One is well regarded.

Turtle Age (Aprox): 2 weeks (since purchase)
Turtle Size (SCL): 30mm + 33mm
Turtle habitat (indoor/outdoor): Indoor

Sunday - 2 pellets + Diced lettuce
Monday - 2 to 3 pellets
Tuesday - 2 pellets + diced lettuce
Wednesday - 2 to 3 pellets
Thursday - 2 to 3 pellets
Saturday - 2 to 3 pellets

All pellets used are raffy P.

Treats (and frequency) - 1 piece of shrimp called raffy I per day. I plan to reduce this treat to 2 times a week, since it looks like they're getting chubbier.

Turtle Size (SCL) 4.5 inches
Turtle habitat (indoor/outdoor) Indoor, 55 gallon tub, 90 gallons filtration, large basking area.

Sunday - Cleaning day, Reptomin w/head size early in the day, a little less than half a lettuce leaf in the evening
Monday - Red leaf lettuce, a little less than a whole leaf, broken up into medium-sized pieces
Tuesday - Red leaf lettuce
Wednesday - Reptomin, lettuce in the evening
Thursday - Cleaning day, Red leaf lettuce

Saturday - Red Leaf lettuce

Treats (and frequency) Repto-treat (the orange pellets), 2-3 twice a week or so in the evenings
Half a thawed bloodworm cube about once a month. I'm trying to mix it up, but with working it's difficult, I need veggies that don't go bad quickly.

Carrots can last for awhile when stored properly, but you're doing pretty good.

Turtle Age (Aprox): 5 years old
Turtle Size (SCL): 6 inches (insufficent UVB when I got them...)
Turtle habitat (indoor/outdoor): Indoor

Sunday: None
Monday: 6 Reptomin pellets
Tuesday: Boiled pak choi or choi sum or lettuce, bit of shredded carrots.
Wednesday: None
Thursday: Reptomin pellets or veggie (depending on what I have at home).
Friday: Cooked courgettes or sweet pepper or pumpkin or winter melon with calcium dusting.
Saturday: A few reptomin pellets, a bit of fruit e.g. pear, apple, strawberries or cantaloupe with calcium dusting.

Treats (and frequency): cooked salmon, cooked other fish, cooked animal cartilage/bone gristle, fresh seaweed, beansprout... once every 2 weeks.
Cooked chicken wing bone (with no shattered bone pieces) for them to chew on (I find that this helps relieve stress? They panic less and stopped repeatedly climbing/swimming into walls).

Turtle Age (Aprox): 4 - 6 months
Turtle Size (SCL): 1.5 - 2inches
Turtle habitat (indoor/outdoor): Indoor

Sunday: 2 Reptomin pellets or veggie (depending on what I have at home).
Monday: Reptomin pellets
Tuesday: Boiled pak choi or choi sum or lettuce, bit of shredded carrots.
Wednesday: Reptomin pellets or veggie
Thursday: Reptomin pellets or veggie
Friday: Cooked courgettes or sweet pepper or pumpkin or winter melon with calcium dusting.
Saturday: A few reptomin pellets, a bit of fruit e.g. pear, apple, strawberries or cantaloupe with calcium dusting.

Treats (and frequency): cooked salmon, cooked other fish, cooked animal cartilage/bone gristle, fresh seaweed, beansprout... once every 2 weeks.

Food that MUST be avoided: Asparagus - offered only once, gave Hachi and Pudding scary seizures. Took them to a vet within 2 hours, not sure what the mechanism of action is... Hachi ate more of it and had bigger seizures, vet said it was critical, had to stay overnight... luckily they both recovered... I felt extremely bad. I have videos of their seizures as well! Willing to share, maybe in another topic area. :)

Hi unclefrancy , Did you raise them from baby's or got them as adults ? You may want to read other post and there reply's . To me need more variety and as adults should be more veggies. Here's a great read : http://www.redearslider.com/plants.html

I would remove the spinach !!! Not recommended ... High - Risk food ! May contain goitrogenic compounds !

Any pic's you can post ?

Turtle Age: Id guess around 2-3 years but I don't know for sure
Turtle Size: about 3-4 inches, I haven't gotten the chance to really measure him
Turtle habitat: indoor

Sunday: Earthworms
Monday: Green/red leaf lettuce+pellets (Reptomin and Zoo med)
Tuesday: Green/red leaf lettuce+ a veggie of some sort
Wednesday: Green/red leaf lettuce+pellets
Thursday: Green/red leaf+veggie
Friday: Green/red leaf+sun dried river shrimp
Saturday: veggie of some sort

Treats (and frequency):
fruits-once a month (tho I haven't really been able to get him to eat any fruits so far)
Turtle Chasers-every couple of weeks (their good entertainment for both of us but they make his tank filthy so I don't use them too often)
grasshoppers-every few weeks

Ill probably tweak this schedule as I try to figure out what works best with my daily schedule+budget, but this is what my current feeding schedule looks like
