Turtle Size: About 4 inches
Habitat: indoor

Sunday: pellets (size of his head)
Monday: lettuce or maybe some carrot
Tuesday: pellets
Wednesday: more lettuce
Thursday: pellets

I was giving him carrot on a semi-regular basis, but I noticed it was on the "Moderate" list, so I'm cutting back on that. Once every month or so he gets about five rosey red minnows or a few ghost shrimp. Oh, and some cuttle bone when I remember (which isn't very often).

When you first got him, did he refuse food the first few days? Mine is about 2 inches and he wont eat ANYTHING! I've only had him for 2 days, but I am soo worried!

Mine was smaller when I got him, but he did not eat for a few days.

Do you know what yours was eating before you got it? Maybe it doesn't realize what you are offering is food. Check out the methods to entice eating on the main portion of the site.

It has some good tips you can use if your turtle doesn't start eating soon.

Turtle Age (Aprox)- just a baby
Turtle Size (SCL) - 1 inch
Turtle habitat (indoor/outdoor)- indoor

We have only had "Buddy" for a little over a week. I don't have a feeding schedule for him as of yet. His tank has minnows, snails and aquatic wisteria and a floating aquatic plant(of which I can't remember the name!) He also gets hatchling pellets.

Head-sized portions of pellets are for every other day or 3x a week for adult RES. I would try to add a little more variety (another brand of pellet, other types of veggies, etc).

Earl
About 5 years old ( rescued her 4 yrs ago )
55 gal tank indoor
About 8 in.
Has 3 goldfish friends living with her as well
Everyday she gets reptomin pellets about the size of her head...a little extra for goldfish
Every other day she gets vegetables and fruit ( just recently started eating them )
She loves fishy flavored wet cat food.....I know I know that's terrible! But...it got in their accidentally when she had her old tank my cats would eat on top and they get wet food as treats and some dropped in and she was in heaven!! She also loved dried shrimp and bloodworms.
Once a week she also gets her shell conditioned!

Try some of the other things in the feeding section for treats. I can't imagine what cat food does to the water. They really like a lot of food that's good for them, so don't worry about doing treats. If the shell conditioner is VitaShell... it's not necessary and potentially harmful. Welcome to the forum!

Our 4.5" RES Torbert loves Anacharis - this is convenient, as it grows like a weed in my planted aquaria, so I can just drop the weekly trimmings into his tank for a veggie snack...
It grows so fast one could even consider growing it in an outdoor pond or well-lit turtle tank as a self-sustaining supplemental feed (it COULD happen;)...)
FYI what is sold as "Anacharis" can actually be Elodea, Egeria, or Hydrilla (and possibly other species) - I have 2 of these 3 that both grow well and are readily taken by Torbert - just be aware some states/countries have banned sale/import of some of these 3 types of Anacharis...

For Turdy and Hester I put two head sized jello shots in the tank every other day and I offer leaf lettuce daily and trimmings from my wife's planted tank. They get a lot of anachris which is gone as soon as it hits the tank. There are also a few ghost shrimp, guppies and ruby red minnows with them that they occasionally catch for a snack(they are not great hunters I usually see them miss). I am thinking about starting to feed them their jello separate they are starting to get a little aggressive toward each other(only at meal time) as they try to constantly go for the same shot.
