I will be away for a few days. Does anyone know how I can feed my RES. who will be in his 40gal. tank. I know there exists disolving fish food but I never heard of any disolving turt food. Are there any planys that I can place in tank for eating purposes?.
Please advise!
Thanks.

If you're just going for a couple of days, you don't really have to feed him while you're gone. Before you go put a few rosie red minnows in the tank and some anacharis (a common water plant that you get at places like Petsmart) and some cuttlebone and he'll be fine.

If someone could look in on him while you're gone to make sure the filter and lights are working properly, that would be good.
