I have had my RES for about 8 months now, she is almost 3in long, I used zoo med's hatchling food, and reptomin from tetrafauna, but now she wont touch any of the other foods i tried carrots, broccoli, she has feeder fish but doesn't seem to care about them anymore either. I am out of the Reptomin and plan to buy some more, but i believe she needs more variety in her diet.

How can I get her to eat other things?

Skadica- DO check out the site Safdar said. But if yours still wont eat them with tuna etc...(mine didnt) try red leaf lettuce and get a veggie clip to suction to your tank so it can hold the lettuce and your Res will get used to it being there and hopefully FINALLY eat it! It took my baby a few days but now she LOVES her lettuce...(thats about all for now though) lol She is still skittish of ALL things new.

It can take a little while for them to accept veggies, especially if they haven't been introduced to them when they're a bit younger than your turtle. Forget the broccoli. If you can get it, try some anachris (aquatic plant) in the tank. Also, if you can get it, you also might get some San Francisco Bay Brand Aquatic Turtle Food, a blister pack of frozen cubes that contain plant matter (dandelions, carrots) as well as some fish. The fishy smell is attractive to turtles. It is messy, though, so it's best fed in a separate container of water. I quarter the cube for smaller turtles and halve it for larger ones. From there you can move on to other recommended veggies.

She seemed to be sick, she is in good health now. She has started eating normally now, she gets zoomed growth formula, carrots, and romaine lettuce.
