I dont know if this is exactly "turtle related" but it sorta is XD
okay on with the questions

1:i want to breed fish for my turtles which should i breed?

2:how long will it take for them to give birth(the fish i mean)

3:at what point after birth are they ready to be fed?

4:Are they cheap fish like the literal dollar a dozen fish?

P.s. if there is a type that carries very little parasites and fits all the criteria plz do tell and lastly any additonal info on the fish you recommend would be highly appreciated,thanks.

xsavingsaturdayx is right....guppies are great for that. If you get them from a good store, they breed themselves!!!!!

Case in point: I got some guppies from a store (about 10-12 in all) and all of a sudden a week later, little baby fish started appearing in the tank. At one point I was up to 9 adults and 11 babies. And it didn't stop there. They were taking over the tank! It was nuts. I started feeding them to my aquatic frog who was more than willing to eat them. At that point, my little turtle wasn't eating them yet so I had to do something. After my baby turtle died, I borrowed a Tiger Barb fish from the fish store (same one who sold me the guppies) and within 3 days he had the guppy population under control (thank goodness).

So be careful....they may take over your tank!

i think of taking a couple of guppies into another kiddie pool and with the high temperatures of greek environment they will breed too many times

Guppies breed like roaches....It's more of a challange to breed rosies. There is lots of websites on raising them.
