I totally agree. I feed my turt in a separate container and this has really helped keeping the water cleaner.

If your turt's water is too cold, they will get sick. Trust me on this.....I lost my first 2 turtles to pneumonia. The $30 you spend on a clear glass tube submersible heater FAR outweighs the amount of money you would have to spend to take your turtle to the vet. It's like insurance. Get some! :)
