francinemarie, were uneaten Reptomin pellets staying in the tank? If so and the water was turning green, you might just fish out any uneaten pellets after 5 or 10 minutes.

no, Crush loves the Reptomin & ate it as soon as i put it in her tank. but i feel like the longer it wades in the tank water, the more it has a chance of changing the water color. it happened more often with Reptomin than the others brands that i've used

Hmm that's interesting. I have never experienced green water when feeding Reptomin.

yea i was hoping it wasn't the Reptomin, but as soon as i gave her other varieties of pellets, the water didn't change color as quick when using the Reptomin :( .

Ok Chris, I placed my order today. I also ordered some more Reptomin while I was at it. I'll let you know how long it takes to get delivered.

hey have any of you guys tried feeding this to your RES? i never saw it on the Petsmart website, but saw it at the store. i was mainly looking for the Hikari sticks, but it seems like it's only sold online so far. i thought i'd give this type a try

I saw it on clearance at Petsmart along with the Hikari etc. I just didn't buy it because I haven't heard anything about it and don't trust it yet.

Exo-terra is a very reputable company though, so I'd be fine with feeding it.

You guys and your PetSmart clearance deals ALMOST have me wanting to go there... but I am very anti-PetSmart... it's a touch decision! I broke down and went there about a month ago to get Toby a new ReptiGlo CF bulb, since PetCo doesn't carry them. I might have to go again to check out the clearance items. I did have an awesome clearance find at PetCo today, but it was for hamster food :)
