Feeding and Nutrition :: can i feed my hatchling.................

can i feed my hatchling regular turtle food. today he ate a cricket from petco. he seems to ignore the hatchling food but i dont think he can see it because i think it is to small. if he can eat a cricket than id guess he could eat regular turtle food. ya think

I fed my hatchling normal size turtle food. But sometimes if the stick is very long I break it into small sections with my fingernails so she wouldn't user her claws and scrape it and cloud the water.

Well if it can fit in your turtle's mouth it should be ok

Let them soak in a small dish for a few minutes before feeding so they will be soft.
