Awhile ago i made a post about my turtle refusing to eat anything green. Well needless to say I have given up on feeding him green things and have just been feeding him purple romaine. I posted up a youtube clip of him eating. Btw the video is taken on my phone and i couldnt stop shaking that day.

And yes i have been over feeding only because my parents don't believe i feed him so they feed him twice, I told them numerous amounts of time that i have already.

I hope this works!

Ha! I know what you mean about the overfeeding. Here's a suggestion. Measure out each week's pellets and put them in one of those pill containers with a little compartment for each day. Leave it by the turtle tank. That way everyone can tell if the turtle has already been fed because that day's pellets will be gone.

Another way to get a turtle to eat green things is to feed him living water plants like anacharis. These are especially good since they are natural and you can leave them in the water until the turtle decides to eat them - they wont spoil like lettuce. Most turtles really like anacharis. Have you tried this?

Don't give up! One of these days your guy will start appreciating his greens. He's still really tiny.

mm i guess it wouldnt hurt to try again. I think anarchis broke my previous water filter because it use to be a water fall filter and the turtle lodged it in too deep and it wouldnt pull water up anymore
