Howdy,

I just got some superworms for my new boxies, but was wondering if they are good for my RES and MAP as well? I've never heard of superworms before and am not sure what their actual name is. Anyone know? Thanks!!

When feeding superworms to any of my turts, I always cut the head off first. Superworms bite and it can draw blood (I've been bitten once). They're fine as a treat but can be difficult to digest, and don't have much nutritional value.

I think the superworms (Zophobas worms) are supposed to be better for reptiles nutritionally than the meal worms are. They still should not be a staple part of an animals diet but used as a treat instead.
