My mom bought some and told me that it is rich in calcium and that I should give a leaf to my turtles. So i wonder..would it be ok to feed my turtles this?
I don't know, the only things i know to look out for are the calcium-phosphorus ratio and oxaylic (not spelled right i'm sure) acid content. Where is DavidY with his internet researching skills when you need him?
Who me? Yea that stuff looks pretty good. Most of the herbs like cilantro and coriander are healthy and nutritious for humans and turtles. There's a nice calcium to phosphorous ration of 2:1 which is a perfect balance for the turts. Go for it, man!
Okay, this morning before work I fed it to them, both of them were kind of cautious of it..and carefully sniffed it until, CHOMP! They ate it all, not a trace of it left. Even one of my turtles who absolutely hates veggies, loved it
