My mom bought some and told me that it is rich in calcium and that I should give a leaf to my turtles. So i wonder..would it be ok to feed my turtles this?

I'm not sure. The package says "culantro" though I read online that it is often mistaken for other herbs...hmmm :?

I don't know, the only things i know to look out for are the calcium-phosphorus ratio and oxaylic (not spelled right i'm sure) acid content. Where is DavidY with his internet researching skills when you need him? :D

Who me? Yea that stuff looks pretty good. Most of the herbs like cilantro and coriander are healthy and nutritious for humans and turtles. There's a nice calcium to phosphorous ration of 2:1 which is a perfect balance for the turts. Go for it, man! :D

Okay, this morning before work I fed it to them, both of them were kind of cautious of it..and carefully sniffed it until, CHOMP! They ate it all, not a trace of it left. Even one of my turtles who absolutely hates veggies, loved it :)
