Before I got Myrtle I did lots of research. Iread somewhere that when your turtle is a year old you feed them every other day. Is this true? + I dont really know how old Myrtle is so if that is true how many inches? (shes 3" right now)

Thanks :D

Hi Emily! :) According to the Nutrition guide --> http://www.redearslider.com/pellets.html a good guideline to follow is the amount of pellets that would fill your turtle's head if it was hollow, every other day, and then veggies everyday. You can always split the pellets up so it's half the amount once a day, or quarter the amount twice a day, etc. I think as the turtle gets bigger (like 3 - 4" or more) they can handle being fed larger amounts less often, like every other day. That's more of a convenience for us, though. I thing it's better for the turtle to get smaller amounts more frequently.
