Feeding and Nutrition :: rosey reds

I just bought Myrtle 5 rosie reds. I have never gave them to her before and the guy at the pet store said she probably would eat them. I put 5 in her tank and as soon as they were out of the bag she attacked them. She has eaten 4 because ones hidng. Should I always give her that much or less next time!?

Wow! That's a fast turtle, or slow rosies! I'd say less, if she eats them that fast. How big is Myrtle? Is she a big turtle, or a little turtle?

little. I was actually suprised that she knew to eat them so fast! Well I got home and she basking right now and I looked behind the big rock filter and there is two hiding. So she ate three and she cant get to the other two.

Wow! That's good. I bet the first 3 were rather stunned, but the last 2 weren't. hopefully they will last for a little bit before she eats them.
