well i saw a live ant on the floor, so i picked it up and put it in the tank. one turtle ate it but the other spit half of it out.

are ants okay to feed? (this was the first time)

I think ants let out some sort of chemical that makes them sting when you eat them, so I would also stay away from them.

It's not a good idea to feed your RES bugs and insects that you "catch" around your house, outside etc. You dont know where they have been..
