Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

I found out in early january (2 months after we got him) that we were not feeding Flash properly. We were given him pellets, shrimp and krill everyday about the amount that would fit on top of a half dollar (he was a bright green baby when we got him). Should I still worry about pyramiding or will his now healthy diet keep him away from pyramiding. I am new to this turtle world and any information would be helpful.

He is a hatchling? Has he shown signs of a lot of growth? If you corrected his diet, if he is young/a hatchling, a problem with the shell from his previous should cease and in time his shell should become "normal." The younger the turtle and the faster the correction in the diet, the less chance there is for permanent damage.

I'm not sure how old he is, we adopted him from someone who didn't want him. I assume he was young b/c he was bright green and a little bigger than a half dollar. He is now about 3 inches long he hasn't grown much and not at a fast pace either.

It should be fine now that you have corrected his diet.
