Feeding and Nutrition :: Aquatic Turtle Yummies

This brand of turtle food comes in a pudding like state that sinks to the bottom of your turtles tank. It is made by eco-therm and can be seen here: http://www.ectotherm.com/aquatic.htm. Would you reccomend this turtle food?

I have the Aquatic Turtle Yummies, i don't feed them to my turtle as often as i do the sticks just because i'm not sure if they're as good for him, i've not seen them mentioned anywhere on lists of what to feed. From looking at the ingredients they look good, not too much protien and some veggies and such. I'm interested to know if any of the experts on here have some opinions.

The Yummies were part of my turts' stocking of Christmas goodies (actually I've bought them before, a long time ago).
There are two kinds---seafood and veggie (more veggie ones than seafood). I cut them into smaller pieces and let them sink to the bottom of the tanks. My RES will eat them reluctantly after he realizes he's not getting anyting else. Some of my painteds like them, some don't. They are MESSY, MESSY, MESSY. I tried to give them as a "treat" the day before or on day a tank would be cleaned so bits of them wouldn't be lying on the tank bottom that long.

I've never tried the Medley, although the ingredients sound high-protein and therefore would best be given occasionally as a treat.

Oh thank you, my turtle loves them but i had only been giving them to him once a week or every other week. The sticks will still be a staple in his diet and he'll still have to eat his veggies but i'm glad i can give the Yummies to him without worrying that i'm giving him junk food.

According to the ingredients, it's not junk food. But to me it's rather expensive for what you get in a box.
